Hymns for Alzheimer’s: The final batch!

At last: I’ve just uploaded the final 13 tracks for the Hymns for Alzheimer’s collection. I am delighted to now have 89 classic hymns, gospel songs, and spirituals, arranged specifically as sing-alongs for elders with dementia, available for anyone to download and use for free. Yes, I’m psyched 🙂

Today’s new uploads include:

  • All Creatures of our God and King
  • Be Thou My Vision
  • Gloria Patri
  • God Be With You Till We Meet Again
  • Great is Thy Faithfulness
  • How Firm a Foundation
  • Jesus Shall Reign
  • My Faith Looks Up to Thee
  • My Hope is Built on Nothing Less
  • O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing
  • O Worship the King
  • Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus
  • When Morning Gilds the Skies

Have you used any of these downloads yet? How did it go? Please let me know, and God bless you for your care for elders.

Now, onto the Christmas set, which is being recorded this week. What could be better than Christmas in June? 🎄

    Hi Elisa,

These new songs are a great addition. Thank you! I haven’t used any yet, but I am thrilled to have them “in the arsenal” for these senior saints.

Hi my name is Christina and I am an activity/program director on a dementia unit in a nursing facility in MA. I’m wondering how I can go about downloading this sing a long for a spiritual activity with my residents. I only see the song lists but not where exactly the links are for downloading.

I have been using your bible studies plus the hymn sings at two care centers. I have started closing each time with a singing of God Be With You Till Me Meet again. The residents as very moved and touched by the words and thought. thank you for all the effort.
