Today: Maundy Thursday and Communion

Hello friends — I almost forgot to post this resource for those of you who would like a dementia-friendly Bible discussion for today, Maundy Thursday, a remembrance of the Last Supper. “Maundy” comes from the Latin word for mandate. It refers to the new commandment that Jesus gave his followers that night: Love one another.

If you’d like to offer communion to your elders today, the Maundy Thursday Bible study guide includes instructions. You can also access my 11-minute communion video here.

And if you’re looking for dementia-friendly resources for Good Friday and Easter, check out yesterday’s blog.

Peace be with you.
