Dementia-friendly church service: Blessing

I’ve made just a few minor updates to this week’s nondenominational church service video on blessing. “Saying grace” is a common mealtime ritual … but do we really stop to consider what a blessing it is to receive food, often three times a day?

This service is a way to pay attention to blessings large and small. It’s terrific for elders, including those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, because it’s a surefire mood-lifter to consider one’s blessings 😇

Watch the 42-minute worship service on blessing here.

Here’s the written agenda for the church service on blessing.

Peace be with you,

P.S. In case you missed it, I recently wrote about room blessings you can use when a resident or loved one passes away.
