The Advent season is upon us! Advent (from the Latin “adventus,” meaning coming or arrival) is a beautiful time of preparation, remembrance, and anticipation, as believers in Jesus consider his birth as Immanuel, God With Us, and his promised Second Advent as the King of Glory.
The first Advent theme is Hope. I’ve slightly updated my nondenominational worship service for Advent week 1, which considers Hope. As usual, this service is suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
Watch the 45-minute worship service on hope here.
And here’s the written agenda for the service on hope as well.
Peace be with you,

P.S. Check out my recent blog for Advent Bible study videos, shorter devotions, discussion guides, and activities suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
