This year the fourth Sunday of Advent falls on Christmas Eve, December 24. Therefore, I’m posting two nondenominational video church services today, both suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
The theme for Advent week 4 is Peace … something elusive in our broken world, but embodied and promised by Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
Watch the 44-minute worship service on Peace for Advent week 4 here.
And here’s the written agenda for the worship service on Peace, Advent 4.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Many elders may remember going to special Christmas Eve church services (sometimes held at midnight!). So I created a shorter Christmas Eve video service, celebrating light in the darkness (John 1:5).
Watch the 37-minute Christmas Eve service here.
And here’s the written agenda for Christmas Eve.
If possible, it’s nice to have some kind of electric candles or even flashlights for your elder(s) to use as part of this service.
I wish you all a most blessed and joyful Christmas as we celebrate Jesus, God With Us. “In him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:4-5)🕯
Peace be with you,
