You are all in my prayers during this sacred and significant week as you reflect on and celebrate the Lord’s crucifixion and resurrection. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5).
In case you missed my earlier post with these resources, here they are again.
(If you’d like something specific to today, Maundy Thursday, check out my Bible study discussion video on Luke 22, the Last Supper, or lead your own study with my Maundy Thursday Bible study written guide.)
GOOD FRIDAY: APRIL 18
- Good Friday video church service (31 minutes) and optional accompanying special hymnal.
- Good Friday written church service agenda and accompanying hymnal.
- Most people appreciate this service, but be aware of your person or group. If you sense agitation, shorten the service as needed.
EASTER SUNDAY: APRIL 20
- Easter playlist on YouTube: This contains two videos to play back to back: the Easter worship service video, followed immediately by the sing-along Hallelujah Chorus video. Start the playlist to watch the Easter service and then flow straight into the Hallelujah Chorus without interruption.
- Stand-alone Easter video church service (43 minutes) and optional accompanying special hymnal.
- Or, to provide the service yourself, here is the Easter written church service agenda and accompanying hymnal.
- Hallelujah Chorus sing-along video. This music is used by permission. Because it includes the lyrics, it’s a great way to encourage people to sing along after your service.
He is risen indeed!
Peace be with you,
