Dementia-friendly church service: Courage

I’ve made very slight updates to this week’s nondenominational worship service on courage. In a world where being brave feels like a daily choice, we are not alone — the Lord our God goes with us (Joshua 1:9).

As always, this service is suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Watch the 45-minute worship service on courage here.

And here’s the written agenda on courage.

By the way: Do you recognize the figure in the photo? Our family loves the 1988 Japanese animated movie My Neighbor Totoro, a tale of two sisters dealing with various fears and worries who gain strength and comfort from a kind and wondrous creature, Totoro 🥰

Peace be with you,

P.S. I’ll be away from my desk Sept 21-Oct 10 for a long-planned trip to Italy! I’ve pre-loaded worship services and written agendas to cover those weeks, so you’ll still get weekly alerts if you’re subscribed to my YouTube channel or this website. However, if you send me a note or email during this time, I’ll have to get back to you after I return. Ciao!
