I’ve slightly updated this week’s nondenominational service on water and baptism. In many church traditions, this Sunday marks the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord (Mark 1:9-10, Matthew 3:13-17). It’s a nice chance to think about baptism (which many elders remember) and simply to appreciate water’s refreshing qualities.
The service is suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.Be sure to have some water handy for elders to touch if they’d like.
Watch the updated 44-minute church service on water and baptism here.
Here’s the updated written agenda, too.
And once again, here’s my suggested 2026 lineup of all church services. Though I’ll be tweaking them slightly, they are all available now on YouTube.
Peace be with you,
