Dementia-friendly church service: Family (2021)

This week’s nondenominational worship service theme is family. What does it mean to be part of a family? What does it take to love and learn from family? How do we become and live as part of God’s family?

As always, this video church service is suitable for elders with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. I encourage you to watch it with them and to pause at the recommended moments to engage discussion — after all, who doesn’t love to talk (or kvetch) about their family? 😉

Watch the 48-minute church service on family here.

Peace be with you,

P.S. Thanks to those of you who sent feedback about the wonky volume in some of the YouTube videos. I’m not sure what’s causing it — the volume sounds steady before I post, then gets erratic afterwards. Working on it 🧐
