Dementia-friendly church service: Community (2021)

I really love this week’s video worship service on community. Elders may have the impression that they’re not needed, that they have no further role to play or place to contribute to the body of Christ, but this couldn’t be further from the truth! You and I need these dear elders — they have so much to teach us about perseverance, hard work, hope, joy, and much more.

As always, this church service is suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Be sure to watch it with them and pause to discuss the roles they can play in their community today.

Watch the 48-minute worship service on community here.

Peace be with you,
