Updated today, this week’s nondenominational worship service is on beauty, a delightful topic for elders (and everyone else). I encourage you to use the prompts in the video to have discussions about what different people consider beautiful to their five senses — in addition to beautiful actions, such as the woman Jesus noticed, who put her last two coins into the temple treasury (Luke 21: 1-4).
I get the most wonderful notes every week from people around the world who are stepping out in faith to serve the spiritual needs of elders — the exact people for whom I created this site. Here are two from this week 😇
I have a church services ministry in our local rest homes. This coming year I have been asked to do services for one of the memory care units. This is a huge step outside my comfort level, but I can see God’s hand in this. I will need Him beside me every step! I asked Mr Google what he could suggest for “elder care short church service”. And found your beautiful site. I have downloaded all your music and can now take this with my little Bluetooth speaker for weekly 30min “Songs, Psalms and Poetry” sessions for these memory care residents. Thank you for your time and for making all your music freely available and so easy to download. These shorter hymn versions will be perfect.Brony, New Zealand
From Paul, U.S.:
After sitting in church for 30 years, I decided I wanted to be involved in ministry. I responded to a request on Facebook Oct 2021 , that a local care home was in need of someone to bring in ministry. I responded – So did they 🙂 The search was on – How do I do it ? The first site I came across was yours. It has given me all the resources I need to confidentially share the word of God – I have not looked back – I visit Thursday evenings at 6PM – With so much more you offer – I have used the sermons and Psalms – Prayers and BlessingsPaul, United States
Peace be with you,
