Dementia-friendly church service: Change (Transfiguration)

This week’s updated nondenominational worship service video looks at the idea of change.

According to many liturgical calendars, August 5, 2022, is the festival of the Transfiguration — the story of Jesus becoming as bright as the sun, and God pronouncing his favor (“This is my beloved Son; listen to him”). It’s a good time to reflect on how God’s presence changes us and gives us hope as everything changes around us.

As always, this service is suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Watch the 44-minute worship service on change here.

Peace be with you,

P.S. Here’s the written agenda for the worship service on Change and the Transfiguration.
