Dementia-friendly church service: Sacrifice (Memorial Day or Remembrance Day)

I made very minor updates to this week’s nondenominational worship service on sacrifice, to coincide with the celebration of U.S. Memorial Day.

If you live outside the U.S., your country may celebrate Remembrance Day or some other Memorial Day ( I mention several in the video), all of which focus on the sacrifice of men and women for a higher cause. And of course, that’s the heart of the Christian faith: Jesus’ sacrifice once for all, to give us eternal life.

As always, this service is suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Bonus! Combine this service with making lapel poppies or stemmed red poppies from simple craft supplies.

Watch the 42-minute church service on sacrifice here.

And here’s the written agenda on sacrifice.

Peace be with you,
