Dementia-friendly church services: Love (Advent week 4) and Christmas Eve!

Amazingly, it’s week 4 of Advent! Now in the more common order, this week’s theme is Love. Watch the new 43-minute advent worship service on Love here.

And here’s the updated written agenda for Love.

Bonus: Celebrate Christmas Eve with my updated  Christmas Eve video Candlelight Service 🕯️. (Here’s the written agenda, too.) This video is only 36 minutes and offers a traditional, memory-friendly way to celebrate Christmas Eve. I encourage you to provide a battery-powered candle for each participant.

In case you missed any of the other weekly Advent services (or want to watch them again 😇), here they are:

You can never sing too many Christmas carols! Find my 20 dementia-friendly sing-along Christmas carols on  YouTube, with easy-to-read lyrics. Or download the audio-only files and free songbooks.

If you’re looking for meaningful activities for this busy week, check out my Advent devotions booklet, a free downloadable resource that includes prayers, song suggestions, and even dementia-friendly crafts.

If you’re interested in slightly longer but still dementia-friendly Advent Bible studies, those are here. (Also available as videos on YouTube.)

O come let us adore him,
