Dementia-friendly church service: Prayer (Lent week 4)

I’ve made a few minor updates to this week’s nondenominational worship service on prayer, for Lent week 4. I love this topic, which explores the concept of prayer as simply a conversation — talking and listening — between us (God’s beloved children) and our good Father.

As always, this service is suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Watch the 44-minute worship service on prayer for Lent week 4 here.

And here’s the updated written agenda.

Peace be with you,

P.S. As I mentioned last week, consider buying fresh palm fronds now to distribute for the Palm Sunday service (just 2 weeks away!). Here’s one source to buy palm fronds 🌴🌴🌴

After Palm Sunday, host an activity to make palm frond crosses (here’s a video tutorial), a cool memento which seniors can keep all year long.

P.P.S. It’s not too late to download my free Lenten Activities booklet, which includes dementia-friendly devotions and hands-on activities through Palm Sunday.
