Online nondenominational worship service for seniors: Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day! I hope this week’s nondenominational church service on YouTube helps you celebrate your father and father figures in your life.

Father’s Day is a special time for many elders, including those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, so I encourage you to use this 48-minute service and any other resources to help your loved ones reminisce about their dads — and to take comfort in their Heavenly Father.

Please let me know if you have ideas for other services! I’m continuing to post one each week, at least until the coronavirus restrictions are completely lifted.

Thanks so much for the email/link. Can’t wait to listen before Father’s Day and then share this service over the weekend. So grateful God is leading you to record these services and even MORE grateful you make them easily available FOR FREE on YouTube and your website. I’ve been working from home a few days and replayed 3 services (in the same sitting) while going through stacks of papers and trying to get my home office organized. Your services… well, really the Holy Spirit and the messages God brings through scripture, songs and your exhortation… those bring such joy and encouragement. What a blessing to sit and sort and finally “make progress” while singing along or listening to your soothing, reassuring, confident voice as you focus my attention on His goodness and love! I am beyond grateful for you and your ministry. Just another proof of how deeply He cares and provides for His own… and for those who need desperately to hear the Good News.

Take care and please know how much you are loved and appreciated.
