I can hardly believe we’re already at the beginning of Passion Week, the week leading up to Easter. This week’s nondenominational worship service video is for Palm Sunday (March 28, 2021), the start of Passion Week, and focuses on what this particular remembrance means for people of the Christian faith. As always, it’s designed for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Also, a service on grief and lament

It has been a dark week (and a dark year) indeed. My husband and I live just a short walk from the site of the mass shooting at our neighborhood grocery store in Boulder, Colorado, this past Monday. And we grieve with the people of Atlanta, who suffered a similar tragedy just a few days before.

This week, I received a note from a reader asking if I had a church service on grief. As it happens, I created a service last summer on lament, an expression of grief. I took this morning to update that video as well, so it’s ready and available for anyone who could use what I hope is a biblical perspective on grief.
