Dementia-friendly church service: Mercy (2021)

This week’s nondenominational worship service, suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, focuses on mercy.

In this service, we ponder the question: How and why can we forgive others, even when we’ve been wronged? (Hint: See Jesus’s story of the Unforgiving Servant in Matthew 18: 21-35.)

Covid-19 Update

To everyone’s great joy, the U.S. seems to have turned a corner on the pandemic. Praise God!

As you reenter the world of caring for older adults in person, please let me know how I can help. I got to lead a Bible study in person last week with elders with dementia, and it was as glorious as ever, with lots of lively interaction — so I hope you give it a try too.

I plan to continue to update and post these weekly church service videos (and I try to create a new one about once a month). However, if you want to start providing an in-person church service yourself (and I encourage you to do so!), you can access the church service agendas here, and all of the hymns and songbooks here (or on the YouTube channel).

Peace be with you,
