Dementia-friendly church service: Work (U.S. Labor Day), 2021

This week’s nondenominational worship service video celebrates the blessing of work, as a nod to U.S. Labor Day, celebrated the first Monday in September.

I love talking with elders about the work they’ve done and continue to do. That includes those living with dementia, who love to contribute, work, and help … and their work matters!

As always, this church service video is suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias — though anyone who can’t get out to their place of worship will enjoy it 😇

Watch the 47-minute church service on work here.

Peace be with you,

P.S. A huge thank you to the teachers, caregivers, farmers, office workers, medical personnel, food servers, and countless others who better our world with their efforts, every single day.
