Dementia-friendly church service: Security (July 4, U.S. Independence Day)

This week’s updated nondenominational worship service is on security, in honor of July 4, U.S. Independence Day. As always, it’s suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Watch the 45-minute service on security, commemorating the U.S. July 4 holiday, here.

This particular service includes a couple of elements (namely, the first and last readings) that are specific to the United States. If you’re watching in another country, you might want to skip those sections and/or supplement with stories from your own country’s history. However, the homily on security is general enough for any audience and nationality.

You can also provide a version of this service yourself by using the written agenda.

As always, thanks for watching, and for your feedback! And don’t miss the new Bible study activity videos too 😇

Peace be with you,
