On Sunday, January 8, you have a choice of two worship services. (See my 2023 suggested lineup and explanation here, in case you missed it last week.)
- Epiphany, the final celebration of Advent, is usually celebrated on the first Sunday after New Year’s but it fell on Sunday, January 1, this year. Epiphany remembers the day the wise men visited Jesus, bringing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. So this 44-minute nondenominational video church service takes the theme of gifts.
- Here’s the written agenda for Epiphany.
- January 8 marks the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord. If you prefer, you can use the 44-minute video church service on baptism and water.

Either service is suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
Peace be with you,
