This week, I’ve updated two options for a dementia-friendly worship service.

1. For Protestants, Sunday February 19 is Transfiguration Sunday. (For Catholic and Eastern Orthodox congregants, this observance falls on August 6.) This church service video discusses the story of Jesus’ transfiguration and the idea of change.

Both are, as always, suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
