A reader alerted me that in the U.S. the fourth Sunday in July is National Parents’ Day, designated by Congress in 1994. (Who knew?)
Accordingly, I’ve switched my posting date for the Family worship service to this week. (The Golden Rule will be next week’s theme.)
Though in this updated video service I discuss family in general, it especially focuses on parents and children, so I think it works pretty well for Parents’ Day. And as usual, it’s suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
Watch the 43-minute church service on family here.
Here’s the written agenda for the service on Family. If you’re celebrating Parents’ Day, feel free to substitute the concept of “parents” for “family” throughout the interactive homily.
And Happy Parents’ Day to parents of all kinds!
Peace be with you,

Margaret, apologies for my delayed response; I was out of town until last night. I hope you found the Golden Rule material on your own; if not, here it is: https://spiritualeldercare.files.wordpress.com/2023/07/goldenrule3-worship-service-1.pdf
You can search for the YouTube Golden Rule video on the site; just type in “Golden Rule” by the little magnifying glass icon. (An updated version will post on Wednesday this week.) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJLkT0NkJ-O7KnmXIvm5H6A
