This week’s nondenominational worship service celebrates Epiphany, the final week of Advent and the story of the three wise men coming to worship the baby Jesus. Because these first Gentile believers brought gifts, the theme for this week’s service is … gifts 🎁
As always, this service is suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Watch the 44-minute church service on gifts, for Epiphany, here.
And here is the written agenda for Epiphany.
Video Volume Too Low?
A reader alerted me that the volume on my videos recently went waaaaaay down. (Thanks, Sally, for bringing this to my attention!) Weirdly, I had been having the same problem.
After trying a few things and asking my techie son, I found the issue: The volume bar had somehow gotten lowered on my YouTube channel, which affected all the videos I watch on YouTube, not just one. If you increase the volume bar on one video, it resets all videos to that volume.
I suggest setting your YouTube volume bar to 100%, then using your TV volume control to adjust the volume up or down for your desired sound level.
Here’s how to do that:
When you’re playing a YouTube video, hover your cursor over the mute/unmute button. This will reveal the volume bar next to the mute button. If the volume bar looks like this, the volume setting is too low:

To increase the volume, simply grab the dot on the bar and drag it all the way to the right.

Now, as the video plays, use your TV control to adjust the volume to your liking.
Please let me know if you see or hear any other problems!
Peace be with you,

Thank you again for allowing God to use you to minister to me and my residents.
