I’m excited to announce a new video offering for elders with dementia: short (7-8 minute) scripture devotionals!
I’m calling these short videos A Moment of Truth. Check out the first two, now on the Spiritual Eldercare YouTube channel:
- Rejoice and pray: Philippians 4:4-7. How do we focus on God and keep from being anxious?
- Heaven: Luke 23:43. In one sentence, Jesus tells us much about what happens when we die.
I’m kind of happy with the title “A Moment of Truth” ☺️ In a world where truth can feel elusive or even intentionally blurred or scorned, I hope these moments with the powerful Word of God will encourage you and your elders to hold fast to the Good News of God’s beautiful story.
What Do You Think?
I’d love to hear your feedback! Is this less interactive but shorter format helpful? (I’ve heard your requests for more Bible studies, so I’m also working on those 😇 )
Please add any comments below; I really want to know what serves you best.
Peace be with you,

I love these! I might use them to start off a Bible study. We can watch the video and then have our own discussion about the passages.

A great idea! IMO, the more interaction, the better 🙂

I really like the devotional you did on Heaven. It’s really well done. You took those 2 verses and got a lot out of them. I think it will really speak to my group. These devotionals are a great idea. Thank you.
