This week’s nondenominational worship service, timed for Veterans Day, delves into honor. Jesus teaches that when people seek self-glorification, they receive no more reward; but in his upside-down kingdom, God lifts up the humble and crowns them with glory and honor (Psalm 8:5, Luke 14:7-11).
As always, this service is suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. And it’s obviously a good time to honor the elder veterans in your midst!
