2025 lineup for dementia-friendly church themes

Happy new year! I continue to be honored and humbled by your beautiful notes and donations — thank you so much. As I often say, those of you who care for elders with dementia are my heroes. I’m here for you if you ever have any questions or suggestions.

Below you’ll find my suggested worship service lineup for every Sunday in 2025, using my dementia-friendly video church services on YouTube. I update each year’s lineup so that the themes correspond to the liturgical and holiday calendar.

Subscribe to my blog (blue button at right) to get a weekly link to the service (plus a link to the written agenda). Or you can always go directly to YouTube and type the title into my YouTube search as shown here:

My own New Year’s resolution is to devote more time to creating new dementia-friendly Bible studies and short devotional videos … so be sure to subscribe the blog and the YouTube channel!

We here at Mapleton Care Center are listening/watching/ enjoying your New Years Eve Service. I really like your new hair! It’s softer looking n darker. Suits you.

Btw, did you receive a monetary Christmas gift from us?

Thanks for all of it !

Mary, I’m delighted that you and your residents enjoyed the video! Your comment about my hair made me laugh because I recorded that video a while back … so my hair may not look the same in the next video 😀

Thank you in advance for the monetary gift — did you send it through PayPal or through the mail? I don’t have anything in my records with your or Mapleton’s name…

      Blessings,

      Elisa

        Chaplain Elisa,

I am so sorry to hear you didn’t receive a gift from the nursing home, Mapleton Care Center. I had asked the Activity director to consider doing so if the budget warranted it.

In any case I want you to know that we all enjoy your services n appreciate all the work you put into them. Thank you so much n Happy New Year!

Please consider a visit at some point. The residents would love to meet you in person!

No worries, Mary — I understand that budgets are tight. I forgot that Mapleton is in Lakewood — not far at all! I’ll see what I can do about making a visit. Are there days/times that would be better for you and your residents?
