2 dementia-friendly church services: Friendship or Change (Transfiguration Sunday)

Your first option for this week’s updated nondenominational worship service is the theme of friendship. What makes a good friend? How does Jesus describe what it means to be a friend? Based on their years of experience, elders typically have incredibly good insights on friendship.

Secondly, as promised, I’ve posted the updated church service on change for Transfiguration Sunday. (March 2 is the Protestant observance; the Catholic observance is August 6.)

As always, both services are suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Watch the 45-minute church service on friendship here.

And here’s the written agenda on friendship.

Or watch the 44-minute church service on change here.

And here’s the written agenda on change for Transfiguration Sunday.

Peace be with you,

    Elisa,
Thank you so much for referring your readers to
Doug Wiley. I contacted him recently and got 10 large print New Testament plus psalms in English and one should be arriving in Spanish anytime now.

I found him really easy to work with.

    Thank you for the referral.
