Mostly just for fun, I’m trying something new on YouTube: Frequently Asked Questions. (Don’t worry, I’m still posting weekly church videos too 😇)
These super-short videos (1-2 minutes) answer a few of the questions I get asked most often. Most relate to Spiritual Eldercare … but I’m open to answering just about anything!
These shorties are quick and easy to make, so please:
- Add your question to any of the short videos.
- Write your question(s) in the comments below.
- Or send me an email at elisa@spiritualeldercare.com.
Hoping to have some fun with this 😊
Peace be with you,

Great idea!
I’ve just started an activity at our facility called “Chattin’ with the Chaplain.”
Similar to your “shorts” but everyone is in the room, and we ask questions. Some they ask are personal question of me, some are theological questions, just whatever they want to talk about. Just in case the residents are not talkative, I always arrive with a hat full of arbitrary questions (What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Etc.) that we ask everyone in the room to answer.
They seem to enjoy it.
FYI…I’ve spoken with Doug Wiley and am in the process of collecting names of folks who would like to have a copy of his Bible. I’m so thankful for your sending his information out. Our residents are excited about the Bibles.
Thank you for your ministry.

Mark, I love that! And I’m so glad you’ve been in touch with Doug about the large-print Bibles; that’s great.

Great idea Chaplains Elisa!
N I was going to ask you if we couldhave a question/answer time when you come to do a service here at MCC. If so, I’ll start getting their questions. N Do you happen to have a firm date you are coming yet? You’d mentioned the last Sunday in March or first Sunday in April. No pressure. The residents n I are just wondering.
Blessings, Mary
