2 dementia-friendly church services: Hospitality or Transfiguration Sunday

This week is the flip side of my post of February 16, with two options for a dementia-friendly worship service. I updated both of these video church services in February 2023 to fix sound and caption issues, and both are suitable for older adults with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

  1. For Protestants you might want to use the service on Hospitality this week. The theme applies to everyone, including elders who live in long-term care communities.
  2. For Catholics and Eastern Orthodox worshippers, Sunday August 6 is Transfiguration Sunday. They might enjoy this church service, which looks at Jesus’ transfiguration and the idea of change.

Peace be with you,

Thank you so much for this ministry.  Your words of wisdom are such a blessing to me when putting together lessons for my group. May God continue to bless you and your ministry.  Glenda<><
