Dementia-friendly church service: Community

I’ve made a few slight updates to this week’s nondenominational worship service on community.

Too often, I think elders, especially those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, believe they have no purpose in life. God says otherwise! As the most senior members of the human team, our elders are integral to to the body of Christ and the world’s wider health and function.

Watch the 45-minute church service on community here.

And here’s the updated written agenda on community.

In this service, I use a story from the movie “Ice Age” to illustrate how community works, despite our obvious differences. If you’d like to print large, color pictures to accompany the story, here you go 😇
